EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES ADDENDUM
November 19, 2007
The special Strategic Planning meeting of the EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE of the METROEAST CHAPTER OF CREDIT UNIONS was called to order by Chairperson Roger Quitter at 9:55 am on November 19, 2007 at Christian Financial Credit Union.

Roger Quitter, Drema Isaac, James Safian, Jan Rose, Gail Hernalsteen, Gary Sylvester, Fran Pierce, Vicky McIntosh, Deidra Williams, Lisa Pionk, Fran Pierce

NEW BUSINESS:
- Review of ME Chapter pages on the MCUL website: removed Chapter Master Plan from site until we can update properly.
- Review Chapter Goals: No changes at this time
- Programs & Events: Discussed current programs and ways to increase participation levels, especially by our smaller and non-active members. Also, consider reducing the number of programs and scaling back the International CU Day dinner meeting to a biannual event. Discussed conducting a survey to get needed feedback on programs, cost and perceived benefits. Finally discussed possible Annual Meeting speakers and fees.
- Legislative Forum: Our goal is to have all 11 represented Executive Committee CU’s achieve 100% of both State and Fed PAC funding goals. We also want to encourage our other chapter CU’s to contribute something to the funds.
- Treasurer indicated that our chapter’s finances are still healthy heading into the new year.
- Charity; we will continue with 2 checkpoints for the MOD Walkathon in Port Huron and Metro Beach. There will be one golf outing on September 08, 2008 at Boulder Lakes. The Phone Home for the Holidays program will be retained next year. The Crohns & Colitis Disease Charity will kickoff the 2008 schedule.
